Graduation is a very exciting time for many of our students and a milestone not to be forgotten. We know some of our undergraduate students are not able to afford the price of a cap and gown and therefore do not walk across the stage to celebrate this huge academic accomplishment.
**Due to overwhelming need, Graduation caps and gowns for December 2018 graduation are limited at this time. Feel free to apply but note that there are limited ones left for us to give out at this time.**
All applications will be processed on a first-come, first served basis and financial need.
All students will be notified about their application status via UNT email.
Mean Green Gowns for Grads is a program offered to first-generation college students, DACA students, historically underrepresented or low-income students. What category do you fall under?
Mean Green Gowns for Grads is a cap and gown donation program in which there is no charge to the student needing the cap and gown. We do expect each cap and gown to be returned to the Dean of Students office no more than two weeks after your graduation date. Do you foresee a problem with being able to return the cap and gown you borrow to the Dean of Students office in this amount of time?
