In Honor of Fallen Eagles

This page is dedicated to the fallen eagles who pass away while enrolled. We will fly the UNT flag at the Student Memorial Flag area (south library lawn) at half-staff for seven days upon the Dean of Students Office being notified of their death. If the UNT flag is being flown at half-staff, you can visit this site to find out more information.

The Dean of Students Office holds an annual memorial service called Flight Memorial. Flight Memorial is a time for the UNT community to honor all faculty, staff, students, and alumni who have passed away during the last year.

Following guidance from the CDC regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the University of North Texas will not be holding the 2020 Flight Memorial Ceremony.
